Bep Guow

Bep was born in Delft, streets away from where Vermeer once lived and worked. She arrived in Australia at age 13 and immediately fell in love with the bush. Her early influences were Arthur Boyd and John Perceval.

Bep formed an all-female group called ‘Mixed Media’, exhibiting around the Central Coast. Later, she moved to Sydney and and exhibited and sold tat he Ewart Gallery.

Bep moved to Daylesford 12 years ago to live near family. She has found it to be a rewarding experience, but notes the landscape is very different with many bald hills.
